A maker who always substitutes the long delays in filming works with his eye-pleasing yet heart-wrenching tales, Gautham Menon, was in the news for all the wrong reasons when his supposed project with Suriya titled Dhruva Natchathiram had failed to take off due to the latter's continuous insistence on speeding his script-writing process. But he is more than making up for it by finishing his directorial with Simbu at a lightning pace while readying himself to start work on his much-anticipated directorial with Ajith.

Although, no heroine has been confirmed for his untitled project, film circles are buzzing with news of Anushka Shetty being considered for the same. The actress has reportedly given her approval to feature in this effort that is to go on floors from this March but is yet to listen to the script as her tight schedules for Rudrama Devi and Baahubali haven't permitted enough time to allot dates for this impending project. A green signal is officially awaited when she's on a break between these period dramas.
