Laddu Babu’ is not a comedy film:

Allari Naresh’s upcoming flick titled ‘Laddu Babu’, being directed by Ravi Babu, is gearing up for Feb 14 release. Poorna and Bhumika are playing heroines in this film. Keeping Allari Naresh’s image and get up, title and Ravi Babu’s track in view, many of us are expecting ‘Laddu Babu’ to be a comedy film. But Ravi Babu has denied it. Ravi Babu says that ‘Laddu Babu’ is a sensible and emotional film. He added “don’t mistake it as a comedy film seeing Naresh’s get up. It is a sentimental film that deals with a fat guy and a young man.” Ravi Babu is well known for making different films in limited budget. It is palpable that ‘Laddu Babu’ is an experiment that deals with the sensitive issue of obesity. Chakri is composing music for this film.
